You picked up your pace, and so did Canary. you were confused and started walking the same way she did, but on opposite sides of the hall. you looked at her and flashed her a quick smile, which she did not return. You two finally parted ways and you did end up seeing Canary throughout the halls. you were newer at the Zoldyck mansion and didn't want to do anything to ruin your reputation after all (since you were already hiding something). you two only exchanged a few words and kept everything as professional as possible. especially Canary, since her reputation was spotless and she was praised constantly for her loyalty and perfection at her job. you had kept the relationship a complete secret, absolutely no one could know that you were violating the rules. You both HAD to be sneaky after all, considering that romantic relationships between the butlers were strictly forbidden. she would come see you every now and then in between shifts. You and Canary had only been seeing each other for a few weeks, and didn't get to physically see each other too often.
